Rules & Video Recording Requirements
All applicants will need to agree to the following terms at the time of application:

1. No restrictions in nationality.
2. Incomplete application forms and without payment of entry fee are deemed invalid.
3. One photocopy of each piece (which less than 5 minutes) is required for the judging panel.
4. All entries are non-refundable.
5. Participants can choose to enter into more than one group if they wish. If they do, participants will need to submit another application forms. Applicants will need to pay for each group the participant enters into.
6. Participant can only play one musical instrument for each application. An additional musical instrument will need to be submitted as another application.
7. Participants can apply in the same group/class with different majors. They can also apply to different group/class with different majors.
8. For Chamber Music Class which has more than one participant (e.g. Piano four hands, string quartet) will be categorized to certain age divisions based on the eldest participant.
9. Consent is given by all participants for photographs, videos and winner posters of participants to be used on our social media sites and Competition promotional materials. If you do not consent, please inform us in advance of the event by email.
10. Rules, regulations, awards, and judging panel are subject to change without prior notice. The organizer reserves the rights for final decision.

Video Recording Requirements
1. Do not require oral introduction for the performance, old recorded videos are accepted.
2. Video must be recorded in one take – Please do NOT edit the performance video. The performance must be taken from only one camera angle from beginning to end. Be sure the camera stays stable the whole time.
3. Can not combine different videos into one video.
4. Participant must use an original copy of the music to perform from if they are not performing from memory. Copyright laws must be strictly observed.
5. The performance must be within the time limit (if applicable).
6. The hands and face of the participant must be clearly visible, your whole body shall be visible too.
7. The video must contain the exact pieces for the chosen group. Submitting a long video and specifically ask to use only a part of it for the competition is not accepted.
8. Judging panel will only watch and make judgement exclusively upon the performance received for the competition.
9. The video/Youtube Link (Please do NOT set the video as private.)
10. Please renamed the file to Participant's ''Name_Group_Age'' when submitting the video file via email. For example Olivia Taylor_Age 6 & under./ James Wilson_Sonata_ age 15 & under.
